Rental Policy

1.0 RENTAL TERMS OF SERVICE

1.1 The complete rental includes rented dress/gown, hanger, garment bag, cleaning, steaming and pressing services.

1.2 The rental price of the dress/gown shall be the rental price stated on the price tag or rental price as discussed (“Rented Price”).

1.3 The full amount of the Rental Price is charged when rental reservation is made.

1.4 The standard rental period shall be 4 or 8 calendar days, starting from day of collection by the Renter (“Pick-Up Date”)

1.5 An additional fee is required for 8-day rentals, please refer to our staff for further details.

1.6 The return date shall be the last day of the rental duration which will be written on the rental agreement (“Return Date”).

2.0      SECURITY DEPOSIT

2.1 All rentals require a security deposit and the amount may vary from different dress/gown (“Security Deposit”).

2.2 The Security Deposit is to be paid upon pick up and will be refunded in full, once the rented dress/gown is returned in original condition without faulty or damaged, on Return Date (for cash deposit) or within 3-5 business days for deposit payment other than cash.

2.3 If the rented dress/gown is damaged (torn or stain) upon return, we will assess the damage and inform you on the repair cost. The repair cost will then be deducted from the Security Deposit.

2.4 Should the dress/gown be damaged beyond repair or lost, the customer will need to make a payment equivalent to the full retail price of the dress as shown on the price tag (less the Security Deposit).

3.0      MODE OF PAYMENT

3.1 The Rented Price and Security Deposit can be paid via cash, online transfer, credit card or debit card.

4.0     ORDER REVISION FOR DRESS/GOWN

4.1 The Renter is allowed to switch their reserved dress/gown to another dress/gown, 20 days before the Pick Up Date and it is subject to availability.

4.2 If the new dress is higher in Rental Price, the Rental Price difference must be topped up.

4.3 If the new dress is lower in Rental Price, the Rental Price difference will be considered null and void.

5.0     CANCELLATION

5.1 Rental cancellation can be made in no less than 45 days prior to the Pick-Up Date. No cancellation fee will be charged and the full Rented Price will be refunded within 7 business days after the cancellation is made.

5.2 For cancellation that is less than 45 days inclusive the Pick-Up Date, the Rented Price will be fully forfeited.

6.0      LATE RETURN & PENALTY

6.1 If the dress is not returned on the Return Date, a late return fee of RM50/day will be charged and deducted from the Security Deposit.

6.2 A penalty fee of RM50 will be charged and deducted from the Security Deposit if the hanger or garment is not returned together with the rented dress/gown on the Return Date.

6.3 Runway Story reserves the right to charge the Renter for any damage for the breach of the Rental Agreement if the breach causes any loss to us.

7.0      PROMOTION

7.1 Promotion items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

8.0     OTHERS

8.1 Runway Story reserves the right to amend the Rental Policy from time to time.
